My goal is to help you feel comfortable in seeking help and change. As your therapist, I will work with you as an individual, a couple, or a family unit on issues that are affecting your quality of life. I will work to help you develop the change needed for your unique situation. The most important role I have to my clients is to provide HOPE for situations that seem hopeless.

Mental illness or life stressors can distract us from living healthy and productive lives. It can also negatively impact relationships that are important to us. Our past negative experiences can often dictate our future if not addressed. Often times, therapy helps improve our relationships with those people with care and love. It helps to have a safe place to process your feelings, work on relationships, and better understand patterns of behavior when feeling overwhelmed or stuck. My goal in psychotherapy is to help you grow from your struggles, heal from your pain, and move forward to where you want to be in your life.

There are many people struggling with the difficult issues of trauma-related issues, difficult or confusing mental health diagnoses, and/or differing types of addiction. Having a Christ-centered focus is paramount to his counseling. He earned is supervisor status as he enjoyed supervising PLC interns, sharing the twenty plus years of experience with counselors starting their journey into the profession. He is trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), a well-known treatment for trauma. He is a certified sex addiction therapist (CSAT) and certification as a certified multiple addiction therapist (CMAT).
