With over 8 years in the helping profession, I have had the pleasure of working with individuals, couples, and families, from adolescents to middle-aged adults, who struggle with anxiety, depression, ADHD, PTSD, sexual abuse, OCD, perinatal loss, and mood and personality disorders, among other issues that cause distress.

My primary focus in counseling is to meet people where they are, help them identify where they want to be, and enable them to accomplish their goals. I believe change is possible. I have witnessed my clients overcome and move forward after facing what seemed like insurmountable odds. Does it take work? Yes! But, is it worth it to become the individual (couple or parent) you want to be? Definitely!

Counseling others has been my passion for the past 25 years. My joy and fulfillment comes from helping others increase the quality of their life. I am drawn to helping those who suffer with depression and anxiety, low self esteem, and symptoms of trauma and abuse. I believe everyone deserves to live a healthy and meaningful life no matter what mistakes they have made in the past. I also believe that it is in the worst situations that we discover our strengths and abilities.

I seek to make my office a place of refuge, where you can be seen and heard without judgement. It brings me great joy to walk alongside people in their journey towards healing. I desire for my clients to get to the place where nothing is hindering their ability to live, play, and love well. EMDR is one of my favorite modalities to use in counseling. I believe it offers a different approach than traditional talk therapy that can help you get "unstuck" from negative thoughts or beliefs.
