Brianna Brooks is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Georgia. Brianna Brooks has worked in the mental health field for 5 years in various settings. She is passionate about helping children, adolescents, and adults address trauma and overcome life challenges. Brianna specializes in depression, self-esteem concerns, anxiety, trauma, family concerns, and major life transitions.

Lisa Salyer is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with over 5 years of experience in the mental health field. She received her Master's degree in Social Work from the University of Louisville. She has extensive experience providing individual and group therapy for a diverse population. Her work has involved counseling survivors of domestic violence, those struggling with substance abuse, adults with relationship issues, and those struggling with grief or childhood trauma along with other mental health issues such as anxiety and depression.

With a therapeutic relationship filled with nurturing and collaboration, along with a bit of humor and playfulness, we can explore dynamics, improve skills, and overcome barriers. Together, we identify and utilize strengths in the process of facing more challenging emotional and relational struggles. My clients, which include children, adolescents, and adults, frequently address issues such as anxieties, OCD, ADHD, trauma, negative self-worth, school/work-based challenges, perfectionism, emotional regulation, preparation/adjustment to divorce, parenting, bullying, and the overall desire to improve key relationships.

As a former Division I Athlete and US National Team Member, I believe that one of the bravest things we can do is learning how to love ourselves through the process of owning our own storying. Often times the first brave step is just reaching out. Society tends to view therapy as something you need if you have “failed” on your own. However, I tend to think the counseling process is one where we invite someone else to walk alongside us on our journey of figuring out who we are. I believe that as humans we are designed for relationship, and we aren’t intended to do and figure it all out alone.

As humans, our natural inclination is to move away from pain. But at a certain point, we may find that the strategies that once protected us are causing us even more pain. Together we can find ways to break old cycles that are keeping you stuck in order for you to move into the wholeness you desire. Many times when healing feels impossible, it is only an indication that what we have tried so far will not suffice. Often this requires slowing down and trusting parts of ourselves that we have long ignored.

While the journey of healing is a nebulous thing, I believe we are built to do it. We can uncover who we truly are and live out of that place with love. No matter what pain you carry, you can learn to carry it well. There are no easy answers in life and I won't try to give you them. I also work with children and families who struggle with traumas, domestic violence, behavioral, emotional and communication issues. I am a bilingual (English/Spanish) clinical evaluator and treatment provider approved by the Department of Health and Developmental Disabilities (DBHDD). I can perform alcohol and drug clinical evaluations for pretrial, DUI convictions and license reinstatement.
