I love working with clients in a partnership to develop the tools that will best help them achieve their goals in a judgment-free environment. I work primarily from a Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT) model, but I believe there is no one-size-fits-all when it comes to mental health counseling. I prefer to use an eclectic approach tailored to the client's individual needs.

I believe services related to mental health should be as normal and attainable as those related to physical health. Science, with a personal and creative flair, should drive these services. I completed a MSW, with a concentration in mental health, from Washington University in St. Louis. During this time I was able to specialize my education and training experience to best fit the role of a mental health therapist. I am able to work with individuals ranging from five years and up, and can address most mental health needs by utilizing a variety of practice models. The role of trauma and traumatic stress is a special area of practice.

The ideal client is everyone as mental wellness is for everyone. Those who seek a radical approach to empowerment in strengthening their ability to develop boundaries, expectations, values, relationships, authenticity, attachment and healing will become closer to the goal of value based living and healing.

I offer compassionate and empathetic mental health services to adult clients in a safe, judgment-free environment for those struggling with emotional dysregulation, trauma, relationship issues, depression/mood disorders, and other problems. My purpose is to serve as your guide as you navigate through the process of healing and growth. Hello, I am Kaci Ziegler, and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor. I have been in the counseling field for the last six years. I have worked in schools, hospitals, and community mental health settings. I provide easy-to-use video therapy that can help support rural communities, busy families, and make access to mental health care quick and comfortable.

I use experiential focused approaches to ensure people who work with me are understood from a holistic lens. My practice centers on the needs of transgender, non-binary, lesbian, gay, bisexual and other LGBTQ+ spectrum community members and their friends and family. I have experience working with individuals, couples, and groups.

After 20 plus years working in the mental health and substance use treatment fields I still enjoy watching patients grow and change in beautiful and interesting ways as we collaboratively work to develop copings skills and strategies to free them from the shackles that once bound them.

I am currently on leave and will return mid-Fall 2023. My passion is to work alongside clients to help them build skills to navigate themselves and their life. My experience is wide, working with people of all backgrounds, ages 6 and up with various issues including PTSD, depression, anxiety, parent-child relationships, and mental illness. I also administer psychological evaluations to help determine appropriate diagnosis, treatment planning and provide individual recommendations for clients.
