I work from a Narrative Theoretical Lens, which means that I believe the stories we tell are reflective of the life we are living. I also engage in an integrative approach which means I pull from many different therapeutic techniques. I welcome all clients, and provide an empathetic, warm space to my clients. Samantha was raised in New Hampshire, and recently moved to Colorado from South Carolina where she received her Master of Arts degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Lenoir-Rhyne University. She also received her BA degree in Psychology from Winthrop University in South Carolina. Samantha is also pursuing a PhD in Counselor Education and Supervision from the University of Northern Colorado.

As a trauma survivor on a personal healing journey, I learned how to help others simultaneously. Healing was hard work, but finding the right therapist was a huge piece of the puzzle. Traditional therapy fails so many trauma survivors. I aim to go beyond talk therapy to find the right modality for each unique client. I have 9 yr experience working with clients who struggle with psychosis, bipolar and personality disorders; substance abuse disorders as well.
