As a relationship and sex therapist, my background and training are in relationship treatment as well as sexuality therapy. I work with heterosexual, lesbian, gay, bisexual, queer, asexual, and transgender individuals, couples, and partnerships to heal and find fulfillment. I see adults on a variety of discomforts that affect individuals, partnerships, and sexuality (e.g., orgasmic issues, erectile issues, desire issues, sexual pain). Additionally, I see couples for a myriad of relational issues. I am LGBTIQA, kink, and poly friendly and knowledgeable.

Struggling with how to make your relationship and sex satisfying? Our relationships and sex in them can be fulfilling and pleasurable. I see intimacy and sex as layered. I work to enhance strengths, improve communication via attachment work and redefine what works for you/the relationship. Each of us changes in different ways as we grow. With changes in our sexuality, relationship or identity, I also hold space for the grief that we each individually or together experience for what we expected sex would look like or how things used to be. I bring laughter, safety and nonjudgement to each of my clients in our work together.

In that reality, you need someone who can listen, understand and help you sift through the problems of a sexual/porn compulsion/addiction and/or the betrayal trauma from the reveal of your partner’s hidden sexual life, and I offer that service. I've worked for the past 8 years with men in their recovery from active sex/porn addiction, and for the past 5 years I've been working with partners/spouses who've been traumatized by such hidden behavior, and its relational damage.

We are all authors to our own stories, and experts in our own lives. When our stories are silenced, harmed, or rejected, this can affect our lives and identities in many ways. It takes immense bravery to let a stranger look past the cover of your story, and you deserve a space where the chapters you wish to process will be handled with respect and care. I am a bilingual therapist offering services in English and Spanish. I am Latinx therapist that enjoys working with people from different backgrounds through lifes challenges. As a queer therapist I understand the complexities surrounding the dynamics of coming out, starting hormones/ social transitioning, dating within a small community, and trying be queer in a world that isn't supporting you. For couples navigating your interpersonal relationship and the stresses that are compounded by your outside responsibilities is hard and often make conflict more difficult. As your therapist we can work on setting goals surrounding coming out, transitioning, relationship issues, and managing the anxiety, depression, and trauma that accompanies the minority stress and burn out in your life.

Current openings! I'm queer and I specialize in supporting LGBTQ+ and nonmonogamous adults around trauma, family of origin issues, gender affirming care, and anxiety, including OCD. Before therapy, many of my clients think: Being in my head is stressful- there are things I'm fearful of talking about, or even thinking about. My past is still affecting me. Setting boundaries can be really hard. Sometimes I have nightmares or flashbacks of things I've been through. If that sounds like you, I can help.
