My approach to helping is supportive and collaborative. I want to work with you on agreed upon goals to help you improve your functioning in your daily life and in your relationships. My work is primarily from a Cognitive Behavioral Therapy model, with some influence by Emotionally Focused Therapy and with insights from dynamic approaches where appropriate. My own personal development work has been influenced by Jungian and Buddhist writings. Kink/poly/CNM friendly!!
In my 20+ years as a psychologist, much of my work has focused on the medically ill. As we get older, our health may deteriorate and we may require help to adapt to those changes. I have a particular expertise in behavioral medicine, cancer, chronic illness and sexual health/sex therapy.
