I became a therapist because I know how hard it was for me to find a queer-competent and affirming mental healthcare provider when I needed it the most. I specialize working with people who struggle with complicated thoughts and feelings surrounding sexual health & wellness, intimacy, desire, sexuality, gender identity, trauma, and non-monogamous relationships.

I am deeply committed to walking with my clients on their journeys of self-discovery as they confront their toughest avoidances and uncover their vulnerabilities. I provide a safe and nonjudgmental space for clients to share their stories while helping to empower them to make changes, create meaning, and discover ways to enjoy life.

With over two decades in the field of human services I, along with my dedicated staff have created a space coupled with highly effective treatment approaches to help you to live again! We offer services to those who need to heal from: depression, anxiety, family conflict, life transitions, sex and gender issues, trauma, abuse, and grief and loss. When we rid our lives of these "toxins", we make room to begin a life journey that we never thought was possible!

At the crossroads of our mental wellness journey are challenging questions: Am I enough? Am I too much? Am I in? or Am I out? When will I be home? The Jackfruit Project seeks to cultivate resilience, connection, and mutuality among gay/bisexual and queer men seeking to find their true north to take committed action in their lives. The Jackfruit Project is staffed queer identified clinicians dedicated to helping folx heal from unresolved hurts. We have lived and professional experiences in the LGBTQIA community and are dedicated to providing gay, queer, bi men a space to find integration and access to their whole selves.

My practice is devoted to treating the full range of emotional and psychological problems that an individual may be experiencing from a psychoanalytic perspective. My goal is to enable clients to experience themselves in a creative way having shed the burden of maladaptive ways of relating to self and others and free of defensive emotional patterns. The way to do so, I am convinced, is to explore the past, present and future to clues to what enslaves, what is currently painful and what freedom as a gift of self promises.

I truly believe that one of the bravest things you can do is to begin to understand your own story. From this understanding and processing of your unique story, you can let go of traumas that control you, anxiety and depression road blocks, bad relationships, and overall the emotional pain that may prevent you from living a happy and fulfilling life that gets you excited to wake up to everyday. I want you to be free of that pain so that you can find meaning, excitement, and purpose in work, friendships, relationships, family, and really ALL areas of your life. You DESERVE this and I'm here to help you on this healing journey!
