I offer support in exploring relationships, communication, sex, and all the things that go under the realm of connection and pleasure. I am a LPCC and Certified Sex Therapist through AASECT, licensed in OH. Many people tell me that I am the first person they have ever talked to about 'this stuff'. I primarily enjoy working with motivated clients who are interested in navigating the complexities of their intimate lives with openness and honesty. I enjoy working with individuals, couples, and multi-partner relationships exploring intimacy, sexual functioning, power dynamics, and communication.

My passion as a therapist is to empower queer and trans, and nonbinary folks to embrace their authentic selves. Rooted in an anti-oppression framework, my mission is to co-create a safe, nonjudgmental space for you to explore healing through the development of a therapeutic relationship founded in authenticity, openness, and connection. My ideal client is the client that is willing to do the mental and emotional work that a therapeutic relationship requires, regardless of the issue they are bringing. These clients are desirous of change and growth and have some degree of motivation to make achieve them. They want to understand themselves better in order to develop and maintain healthy relationships with themselves and others. They commit their time and energy to themselves and the process and are respectful of my time.

I have extensive experience in working with those who face a variety of issues including Sports performance, sex therapy related problems, life transitions, financial illiteracy, and attachment related concerns.

I'm passionate about working with clients who want to improve their relationships and sex. Most often, I work with clients who want to overcome sexual challenges such as erectile dysfunction, low/mismatched libido, and sexual pain. Aside from sex therapy, I treat other general concerns such as anxiety, depression, relationship issues, and life transitions. I also help clients work through trauma using Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy and Internal Family Systems (IFS).

PS Wellness provides sex therapy for individuals, couples and diverse relationship systems (ethical non-monogamy - ENM). As an AASECT certified sex therapist, my intention is to be inclusive, purposeful and down to earth in serving clients through a sex positive lens. It is essential to form the therapeutic relationship by embracing one’s unique worldviews, beliefs and values on the path to change. In this approach, my aim is to empower clients by helping them better understand their genuine selves and thus evolving through this understanding. I am a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC-S), licensed in both Ohio and Kentucky, specializing in the treatment of sexual dysfunction, sexual pain, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), complex PTSD, and mood disorders. I have a particular interest in the intersection of sexual dysfunction and trauma, and the impacts that has on a person’s well-being and relationships. Additionally, I provide couples counseling to couples struggling with desire discrepancy, communication issues, and the impacts of sexual dysfunction on the relationship.

Providing education and facts surrounding sex, intimacy, and relationships is so important, especially when it was absent or shrouded in fear, shame, or mystery while growing up. Too many of us have received inaccurate or little information about sex and our bodies. I want to provide a space for you to explore and understand how sex and intimacy fit in with who you are now to promote safety, pleasure, and connection. I am EMDR trained and am in the process of completing my Sex Therapist Certification.

Therapeutically, I have always been drawn to the way we relate to the body. Your body is your home, but many of us feel disconnected from ourselves due to the pressures and oppression we face in the modern world. I have worked with clients on many of these spots of disconnection ranging from eating disorders to chronic illness to sexuality and pleasure. Using the tenets of Acceptance and Commitment therapy, mindfulness, and sex therapy approaches, I hope to make this space feel a little more like home again.

My goals in therapy are to collaborate with my clients to help them reach their full potential and to improve their quality world. I look at my clients holistically and do not define them by the symptoms that led them to therapy. I am a Certified Sex Therapist recognized through AASECT, and work with clients on topics related to sexual identity/orientation, relationship structures, sexual dysfunctions, and kink/BDSM. I also work with clients addressing concerns including depression, anxiety, life transitions, and older adulthood/lifestyle changes.

Being judgment-free and empathetic is inherent to my role as a clinician. I have worked with an extremely wide range of individuals. I specifically have experience working with individuals who are formerly incarcerated, individuals with sex offenses and/or sexually deviant behaviors, and adults struggling with daily stressors (including depression, anxiety, relationship and/or boundary concerns, mitigating shame, and grief). I additionally have experience working in a human rights organization focused on LGBTQIA+ and immigrant communities.
