As a therapist, I believe it is important to respect the choices that people make in their lives, and to listen openly and non-judgmentally. We all make choices that may not make sense to our friends and family. Therapy is useful for helping us to understand the reasoning behind the decisions we've made, and for facilitating change in our lives.

I specialize in treating people who are experiencing relationship issues, sadness, chronic or acute illness, body troubles, sexual concerns, bereavement, and trauma.
I am a clinical social worker with 21 years of experience. After graduating from Columbia's School of Social Work, I completed a post-graduate program in psychodynamic psychotherapy from the American Institute for Psychoanalysis. I continued my training under Drs. Fred Pine and Warren Poland, and have since worked with hundreds of New Yorkers of all ages.
