Contact me if you are struggling with relationship difficulties, sex, sexuality concerns, trauma, losses of loved ones, ADHD, depression or anxiety. I will help you better understand and accept yourself, and use your own insights and strengths to change and grow. I am also passionate about working with individuals, families and groups with cross-cultural/immigration background. Coming to United States as an international student myself, I deeply understand the challenges in the international community, the painful process of loss and separation from home countries, and difficulties to fit in due to language and cultural barriers.
My personal approach is warm, flexible and interactive. I have expertise in sex therapy, Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing, Acceptance and Commitment therapy, Hypnotherapy, Mindfulness and Attachment based therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Family therapy and Couples counseling. I can work flexibly with you to figure out what works the best.
I am also the founder of Ally Counseling and Therapy, a multicultural and multilingual group practice (Mandarin/English/Japanese/Spanish). Our practice is culturally sensitive and inclusive. Part 1 We will explore relationship and sexuality values, sex positive and women centered communication, stages of relationship building, attachment theory, Gottman methods, body image issues and more.
