My clinical practice is integrative in nature. As a social worker, my theoretical orientation is always informed by a social justice and a systems lens. I use a brain-based approach when developing treatment plans with my clients. I primarily use cognitive behavior therapy and motivational interviewing to target and help strengthen the prefrontal cortex. During sessions, I gently challenge clients' cognitive distortions and guide them to actionable and measurable change. I also teach clients to incorporate strategies to target subcortical regions of the brain and address their own trauma or stress-related symptoms.

I specialize in relationship therapy, and sex & intimacy therapy. I am a certified sex therapist and a certified trauma professional. I am kink friendly, ENM/Poly welcoming, sex worker allied and neurodivergence friendly. I also specialize in working with the unique challenges and specific mental health struggles faced by the LGBTQAI+ community (Trans, Non-Binary and those with genders outside the binary are especially welcome!)
