I am a queer sex therapist, providing a relaxed, open, collaborative and non-judgmental atmosphere. My intention is to support people in the LGBTQIA+, non-monogamy, and kink communities (Gender, Sexuality and Relationship Diverse). I will cater my approach to your needs, but my natural style is straight-forward, so I tend to delve into the issues at hand so that you can see improvement in your emotional well-being as quickly as possible. Once immediate stressors have been calmed, we can work on a deeper level together in order to gain insight on underlying beliefs and experiences that may be contributing to your distress.

I started my career as an electrical engineer in the aerospace industry, working and leading teams for the International Space Station and a satellite mission. Wanting to work more closely with people, I switched to business strategy consulting, traveling to Fortune 100 companies on a weekly basis for two years. While I got the chance to solve complex problems, I realized I wanted to help people solve the problems that mattered to them at a deeper level. This, coupled with my own recovery journey, is what drives me to do exceptional therapy work today.

I am a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor with a Masters degree in Clinical Psychology from Argosy University College of Behavioral Sciences, Twin Cities, Eagan, MN. I also have been a Licensed Practical Nurse, since 1990. I have completed education in sex therapy, from University of Wisconsin-Stout, Menamonie, WI. I have been working since 2014 as a therapist. I also have experience working with veterans, and have worked in both acute inpatient psychiatric hospital and outpatient intensive therapy.

I work from a Relational/Cultural theoretical orientation, meaning that I believe the therapeutic relationship is a key to healing within treatment. I take an eclectic approach to counseling utilizing interventions from various theories in order to best serve the needs of the individual, couple, and family.

I am passionate about helping people be the best version of themselves. These unique relationships require experience from someone who is passionate about them! You may need help with your multiple relationships, your relationship structure, or just someone to talk to who will not wince when your sex life is brought up. You may be struggling with a recent diagnosis of a chronic illness and want to talk with someone about it who understands the gravity a chronic illness diagnosis can bring.
