I offer therapy services to all individuals, couples, and families. I also offer parenting classes and anger management. I believe in tailoring treatment to fit the needs of the individual client. For this reason I don't use the same therapeutic approach with every client. Every person is unique and I believe it is important to recognize this. In addition to traditional therapy I also offer "Relationship Checkups". These checkups consist of two sessions designed for couples to attend once a year. The checkup is to provide maintenance, prevention and intervention to keep your relationship strong throughout the year.

My journey of helping individuals and families began as a hospice social worker. I worked closely with individuals and families to provide a "total care" approach while offering guidance through the emotional process of death. Now in private practice, I have worked with many cases and continue to use the "total care" approach with each client. I welcome all individuals and find incorporating your values/beliefs in therapy is supportive of the healing process. As I share with clients, we have to embrace our past, present and future to begin the healing process.

I provide counseling and life enrichment services for teens, adults, families, couples, and groups. My office is a safe atmosphere welcoming diversity in culture, in sexual orientation, religion, and other factors of difference. Our lives can be wonderful, tragic, amazing, challenging and we go on many journeys and walk on many paths along the way. I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist Supervisor (LMFT-S), Certified Sex Addiction Therapist (CSAT), Certified Partner Trauma Therapist (CPTT), and trauma therapist (EMDR). I walk with clients through emotional healing, addiction recovery, and relationship repair. I help individuals and couples struggling with infidelity, betrayal, trust, intimacy, sex, process addictions (sex/porn, love, work, etc.), communication, and complex or attachment-oriented trauma. I am an integrative therapist focused on healing the split associated with trauma. Trauma can disconnect you from your authenticity and power, creating a misalignment in your mind-body and spirit. Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and the Inner Counselor are two highly effective approaches used for healing. I see clients with panic disorder and depression, sexual abuse, abusive relationships, codependency and self-esteem issues and more. Bringing health and balance back around areas that have become compulsions (eating, sex, alcohol, relationships, etc.) is another important part of this personal healing journey.

Talking about intimacy issues can be challenging and intimidating. I take every measure to create a calm and comfortable environment for us to talk in a matter-of-fact way. Shaaron Boyles, LCSW has been working with sexual offenders and those involved with the criminal justice system for over 20 years. She is clinical director of Milestone Evaluation and Therapy with a team of qualified professionals to provide extensive evaluations to those who require it from the courts or simply want to gain a better understanding of their behavior. Sex Offender Specific Evaluations are conducted on an individual basis with the whole person in mind. From this, specific treatment recommendations (when appropriate) will set an individual up for success.

I am passionate about helping adults and children through trauma. I value the innate potential each client has to gain insight and make the commitment to change their life when they are both ready and willing. I use compassion and accountability to provide a genuine platform for clients to reveal themselves without fear of judgments. In my therapeutic approach, I believe that each individual is unique.
