You're tired, broken, and weary from trying and failing again and again. Sexual addiction has promised you the world but robbed you of your soul. At times it seems hopeless. You’ve questioned if it’s even possible to be free. This is an understandable sentiment. Sexual addiction is a beast. But despite how impossible it may seem, true freedom can be achieved. My approach addresses three areas of the problem to help you discover lasting freedom. I want to empower you to have control over urges, help you find the roots of the problem and remove them, and ultimately help you change your relationship with sex.

My counseling focus is Marriage and Relationship counseling as well as depression and anxiety. I believe our core problems tend to stem from our desire to be validated and loved by others. When we do not feel worthy, "good enough" or loved we engage in self-protective behaviors (fight or flee), pain comes to the surface and we experience hurt, anger, anxiety and other destructive emotions.

***Accepting new clients*** We all strive for healthy and satisfying relationships, but sometimes we don’t have all the tools we need to get there on our own. As human beings we all crave connection, belonging, and to be seen and known by others. That is where therapy comes in, to help provide some new tools and empower you in day-to-day life. I believe in walking alongside you as you seek to make changes in your life and relationships. Change is often small and incremental, but you will be surprised to see how change can add up over time. My therapeutic approach is compassionate, open, collaborative, and trauma-informed.

Clients typically approach me when they have experienced trauma (single incident or complex, recent or past) or are experiencing concerns related to the perinatal time period. This includes anxiety, depression, miscarriage, birth trauma, infertility, guilt, and overwhelm. I work best with clients who are looking to explore the deeper root of their problems rather than only the symptoms. I also identify as Christian. I can incorporate faith into counseling upon a client's request; however, I work with clients from a variety of belief systems and only include clients' spiritual or religious beliefs when requested and appropriate.

There is no such thing as an ideal client. That is too boring. The way I do therapy is relaxed. I am not your average therapist, and I am not going to be like, "How does that make you feel?" but I am going to say, "What up! How are we doing today?" I never stop learning, and when you have me as a therapist, you will see that you will fall back in love with learning. Overall, I am just honored you allowed me to help you! We specialize in sessions via the internet on high encrypted, Hipaa Compliant systems (similar to FaceTime, Skype, etc.) It allows for same day sessions for clients who are not able to make it into one of our physical locations. Clients can use their phones, tablets, laptops, and PC's.
