I am an AASECT Certified Sex Therapist and Couple/Relationship Counselor, licensed in Colorado and Hawaii. I help individuals and those in traditional, or non-traditional, relationships, explore issues surrounding: sex, sexuality/sexual orientation, gender, sexual performance/functioning, desire discrepancy, kink/fetishes, compulsive sexual behavior/sex addiction, sexual abuse/trauma, communication, intimacy, and betrays of trust/infidelity. Relationships can become overwhelming and confusing. It can be helpful to work with someone on difficult and vulnerable issues you and your relationship(s) are experiencing. I support relationships that are experiencing hardship. I help relationships heal, grow and develop the skills, motivation, and capacity to overcome relationship challenges. I help relationships in regards to intimacy, sexuality, as well as other goals you have. I also work with individuals who are having sexual difficulties in general. Talking about sexual concerns can be hard. I provide a safe space to have supportive and safe conversations about sex.

My counseling style is honest, clear, direct, compassionate and intuitive. My work with you will be spirit-based, compassionate, and wellness-oriented. I will use a strengths based, client centered, humanistic approach in our sessions. Women have a complex and multi-layered relationship to their bodies - layers of shaming and conditioning around our body image, self-worth, sexuality, pleasure, menstruation, menopause, pregnancy, ageing, motherhood, and so much more. Women also carry immense pain within their wombs related to infertility, pregnancy loss through miscarriage and abortion, sexual violation and assault, medical procedures, and through internalized misogyny- all of which have a great impact on our body, minds, and souls. I have extensive experience in treating adolescents and adults experiencing complex trauma, relationship issues, and change of life transitions. In addition, issues around sexual orientation and identity issues in teens and adults are offered through my practice. Dr. Kehoe offers community based mental health services in 7 convenient offices located in Aiea, Ewa, Honolulu, Kahuku, Kaneohe, Makaha and Wahiawa. Dr. Kehoe specializes in adult, family and child psychology and offers a number of services including behavioral health treatment, child, adolescent, individual and family counseling, behavioral modification therapy, testing and assessment, psychotherapy, and skills training (ST). Outpatient substance abuse treatment and supportive services as well as face-to-face mental health crisis support is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
