As a trauma certified Clinical Social Worker (Psychotherapist), Educator, and Sex Therapist, I provide individual therapy, couples counseling, and group therapy for adults. My areas of specialization include Military & Veteran populations, Mental Health Providers, First Responders, Parasomnias, Sexual Dysfunction, PTSD/Trauma, and LGBTQIA/Kink/Poly populations.

For me, therapy is about transformation--dealing with old feelings, memories, regrets that are now getting in the way of living and functioning. Transformation may also be about moving into or out of relationships, jobs, locations, lifestyle, or an era of one's life. I like to help people deal with who they are, with the meaning of their life, and the importance of their feelings, relationships, and vocation. I am a resident clinician who has worked in community mental health for more than 10 years in environments as varied as hospice care, juvenile group homes, sexual assault crisis support, and justice-involved individuals. I was raised in a working-class home in northern California and became involved in politics, environmental activism, and community organizing at a young age. These experiences complement my formal education in behavioral science and social work, focusing on clinical therapeutic applications with clients identifying with LGBTQ+, kink, ethical non-monogamy, and ‘geek’ culture.

Holding onto hope in the midst of life's challenges, transitions, and relationship struggles is never easy. One of the hallmarks of my approach is to help engender a sense of hope no matter what is happening in your life. I'm very relational and interested in hearing your story, helping you become curious and conscious about your inner life, exploring changes, and empowering you to courageously move forward.
