I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Certified Holistic Nutritionist. With my background in both disciplines, I believe strongly in looking at both the physical and mental factors that may be impacting a person's life. I worked for over 20 years in community mental health and private practice helping clients address anxiety, postpartum depression, food and body image struggles, divorce, ADHD, stress, depression, parenting, work/life balance and attachment. I feel the therapy room should be a safe, non-judgmental place to explore everything that is impacting your life.
I also enjoy working with women in the postpartum period and have completed extensive training to help address this time of great transition. I am also a Certified Intuitive Eating Counselor.
My combined training in mental health and holistic nutrition drives me to look at the interdependence between physical and mental health with all of my clients. Recent research is demonstrating their profound impact on each another. I believe strongly in addressing these issues so clients can enjoy optimal health.
