Welcome to Set Sail Counseling, an open and affirming practice in Hershey (with virtual options for folks throughout Pennsylvania)! We love learning about people and digging deep into who they truly are. Are you feeling "stuck" in your trauma and unable to move forward? Desperate to break free from the hold that anxiety has on you? Exploring changing sexuality or gender expression, especially later in life? You sound like our kind of people, and we want to "set sail" on this journey with you!
Our practice has two LPCs: Stacy Dove and Stachia Miller. Stacy has been practicing for over 18 years and typically utilizes CPT, an evidence-based treatment for Posttraumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD). Stachia typically utilizes CBT and/or DBT and is a gender-affirming therapist operating from a trauma-informed lens.
Set Sail Counseling is guided by our core values: Courage, Compassion, and Excellence. We believe in incorporating intersectionality within the therapeutic space, and we are owned and operated by LGBTQ+ women.
