Serena uses a psychodynamic approach with an emphasis on integration of emotion, mind, and body experiences through an IFS lens. Serena has 17 years of various experiences in the treatment of trauma, anxiety, dissociation, attachment, grief, relationship challenges, depression, and life change transitions.
Specialty trained in EMDR, Internal Family Systems, Ego State Interventions, Polyvagal, and CT to fit the various needs of my clients. Serena has advanced training in EMDR with Complex Trauma, Attachment, Mindfulness, and Dissociation. Serena enjoys providing psychoeducation to increase client's understanding of what they are experiencing.
