I help those searching for a creative solution to life's challenges, who are open to or seeking somatic and process-based therapy, in addition to talk therapy. I enjoy working with people from all kinds of backgrounds. I wish for you to feel accepted, understood and supported in pursuit of self-discovery, learning and insight.
I complete regular, ongoing training to offer best practice in trauma assessment and treatment, esp. CPTSD. I can also help in identifying and exploring possible ADHD and Autism Spectrum symptoms, coping with chronic illness, disordered eating, life transitions, and/or issues related to personal identity.
My practice is centered in Art Therapy and Expressive Arts, including the use of fine art media, creative journaling, movement, rhythm, guided imagery and more. I may also add mind-body, spiritual, trauma-informed, or more conventional therapeutic techniques. My eclectic approach is tailored to your needs and wishes in developing plans and sessions.
Our first meeting will be a chance to get to know one another a little, explore issues you'd like to work on, and determine if what I offer is the right fit. I'll provide you my recommendations, and work with you to set up a plan of care and a schedule for meeting, and/or refer you to other providers or resources as appropriate.

Phoenix Rising: A Trauma Recovery Group
Phoenix Rising is a closed therapeutic group combining learning, skill building, group exploration, guided discussion, and expressive arts therapy in weekly sessions over 8 weeks. Group re-starts after 8 week period. Participants will gain perspective on acute and complex Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder, learn ways to identify and manage symptoms, gain self esteem and self confidence, improve interpersonal relationships, and create a personal road map of recovery.
