My name is Seraphina Geiter, and I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) based out of Ojai, CA & offering Telehealth therapy statewide. I work with college students, adults, and couples, and I specialize in anxiety, stress, depression, life transitions, relationship issues, and substance abuse recovery.
Some core models I draw on include psychodynamic (looking at how our past experiences shape the present), Acceptance & Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral (CBT), and Internal Family Systems (IFS). I find these models do a great job of solving problems in the present and providing deeper, lasting healing.
Our first session together is about us getting to know one another, building a connection, and me getting a sense of what you’re looking for help with. There’s no formal questionnaire or interview: our first session is an organic conversation intended for us to connect and to help me get a sense of what therapy with you would be about.
