With over two decades of experience, I specialize in supporting adolescents and their families as they navigate the complex challenges of anxiety and depression. My journey began with a Master’s Degree in Teaching from Connecticut College where I focused on the psychological development of learners and pedagogy. I further enriched my expertise with a Master’s in Social Work from Rutgers University where I focused on promoting child and adolescent well-being, giving me a unique perspective as both a clinician and an educator.
I believe that every adolescent has the potential to live a fearless and tenacious life, even in the face of overwhelming choices or the fear of failure. My role is to guide both the individual and their family through this pivotal growth period, helping them align with their values and achieve their goals.
I'm trained in evidence-based treatments such as SPACE(Supportive Parenting for Anxious Childhood Emotions), CBT, Motivational Interviewing, Cognitive Processing Therapy and Nurtured Heart Training. My motivation comes from witnessing the resilience, effort and commitment of the teens/families I work with as they transform into strong, successful individuals
