About
As an Asian-American DREAMer and a DACAmented bilingual/bicultural therapist, my heart lies in supporting members of the API community who have experienced marginalization due to their intersection of identities (ie spirituality, sexuality, legal status, cultural background). Specifically, I work with individuals as well as "minister's kid/pastor's kid" who have experienced religious and relational trauma, imposter syndrome, dysfunctional relationships, and repressed sexuality as a result of the internalized cultural and societal messages they were exposed to that have further perpetuated an oppressive narrative around who they are.
In my practice, I operate as a culturally-sensitive, strength-based, eclectic therapist to meet you where you are at. My experiences include working with multiethnic populations with diverse set of issues in various settings, including community mental health, health clinic, non-profits, schools, and private settings. I am also an EMDR trained therapist.
I work to build and foster a therapeutic alliance where we can collaborate together in creating a space for you to freely explore yourself and your lived experiences. I look forward to connecting and journeying with you during this pivotal moment in your life! Please call or email me for a free 15 minute consultation. 한국어 상담 가능합니다.
