I graduated from the University of Texas at Tyler with my masters in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, a CACREP accredited program. . I am a National Certified Counselor by the National Board for Certified Counselors (NBCC). LGBTQ+ friendly.
I use an integrated approach in sessions rooted mainly in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Person-Centered therapy. This means I focus on what your needs are in session and help you understand how your thoughts, emotions, and behaviors interact with each other in daily life.
I find strength in helping to guide you into that space of empowerment in hope that you are able to let it follow with you outside of the counseling space. I utilize your short- and long-term goals as a basis towards treatment planning and focus on what you would like to get out of counseling.
