I understand the struggle that all individuals can have with anxieties as well as feeling that things are in a slump and just not quite right anymore. I enjoy working with individuals of all ages that are struggling with anxiety, self identity, depression, and overcoming ruminating thoughts as well as thinking in a negative spiral. I work with children ages 9 and older to process stressors that they do have from school or home life. My goal as your therapist is to help guide you to identify what may work best for you in overcoming anxiety and low mood and functioning in an even healthier way than before.

Dr. Jackson has a bachelors' and masters' degree in General Psychology from the University of Houston. Her Doctor of Philosophy Degree is in Clinical Adolescent Psychology from Prairie View A & M. She has been involved in clinical work for the past 21 years and a college professor for 16 years.

Brooks Psychology: Women's Wellness. The foundation of my therapeutic approach is a combination between Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy with an implementation of Creative Arts. My sessions are forward focused in which the treatment plan is focused on areas of growth. With that said every treatment plan created is personalized for the individual based on their needs, wants and symptoms, but is catered to female oriented issues.
