I am an experienced Licensed Mental Health Counselor, I have been working with individuals and families for over 32 years. Over the span of my career, I have worked as a Bi-vocational professional as a Pastor and as a Counselor in the community. I have worked with many populations: Severe and Persistent Mentally Ill, Homeless, At Risk Youth, Adolescents, Foster Care Families, Abused Children, School Age Children, Fatherhood, Parenting, Marriages in trouble, Divorce, and couples. I am a Certified Trauma Professional and specialize in working with survivors of traumatic experiences, PTSD, Bipolar / Mood Disorders, and RAD.

I have Devoted my career to ongoing training and learning new and progressive techniques that work. I have expertise in children and teens but work with Adults as well. I am trained in ART (Accelerated Resolution Therapy) and am passionate about assisting individuals to reprocess their traumatic and distressing memories and experiences so they can recover and take control of their lives once again. I am also passionate about supporting individuals to explore healthier ways to cope with depression, stress, anxiety, phobias, and PTSD.

Kada enjoys working with children, teenagers and adults. Kada graduated with her Master’s in Mental Health Counseling from The University of Florida. She genuinely cares for her clients and puts a lot of time and effort into making sure they are getting the help that they need. She takes a trauma-informed approach and uses attachment-based theory in her practice. She also utilizes CBT, Person-Centered and Mindfulness Based Interventions. When working with children, she loves using Play Therapy Techniques as play is a child’s primary form of communication and processing.
