I have been in private practice for about 11 years. My extensive background includes in-patient, residential, day treatment, and home-based. Much of my social work experience has been in the hospital setting, working with high acuity clients who exhibit suicidal ideation and are at risk of hurting themselves. I recognize the hardest step is often deciding to schedule an initial appointment with a therapist. My focus is working with children, adolescents, and young adults ranging from 10 to 25 years of age (though I also enjoy working with adults) who experience depression, suicidal ideation, self-harming behavior, anxiety, and trauma-related issues. My goal for clients is to seek connection and foster curiosity to reduce disconnection and isolation.

After raising my children, I received my master's degree in mental health counseling. My passion is helping families live more functionally.
