I am a Licensed Professional Counselor and Nationally Certified Counselor practicing in Fort Morgan, Colorado. I enjoy working with adults, children, and adolescents. I have specialized training in trauma-focused counseling, as well as mood disorders, such as depression and anxiety. My goal is to help you resolve problematic life areas and support you as you heal within the therapeutic relationship.

As a very compassionate individual, I have dedicated myself to providing positive emotional support to youth with a broad range of presenting problems, including anxiety, anger management difficulties, Autism Spectrum Disorder symptoms, and trauma symptoms. My forte is intervening with individuals ages 6-24. I have a strongly committed passion for helping others, and am particularly passionate about helping individuals with developmental disabilities. As a very loyal, caring, and compassionate individual, I find it imperative to keep what is in my clients’ best interest in mind.

Samantha was raised in New Hampshire, and recently moved to Colorado from South Carolina where she received her Master of Arts degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Lenoir-Rhyne University. She also received her BA degree in Psychology from Winthrop University in South Carolina. Samantha is also pursuing a PhD in Counselor Education and Supervision from the University of Northern Colorado.

I am an intern working towards a dual degree in mental health counseling (MHC) and school counseling. I attend Rocky Mountain University of Health Professions. I am currently working for RMU's counseling clinic via telehealth. I am also under the supervision of Lauren Prior here in Greeley. My focus is grief, trauma, depression, anxiety, LGBTQ, and neurodivergence. I know seeing an intern may not be your first choice, but there can many advantages. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Colorado. My education is a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from Cleveland State University, Cleveland, OH and a Master’s Degree in Community Agency Counseling from Cleveland State University, Cleveland, OH. I specialize in working adults, specifically with trauma, anxiety, and depression. I am trained in Cognitive Behavior Therapy and have an eclectic approach where I adjust the therapy modalities to the specific needs of the individual. I am a EMDR trained therapist.

I enjoy using a myriad of approaches to assist you in reclaiming your life. I enjoy working with couples who are facing relationship difficulties including communication concerns, finding a deeper connection, or resolving past wounds that maybe intertwined with trauma. I am comfortable with couples, neurodivergence, and enjoy being a support to those of the LGBTQIA+ community.

Cope Counseling and Consulting, LLC was founded in 2023 with a mission of reducing barriers and increasing accessibility for all. We do this by accepting private and public insurance and providing sliding scale fees to keep therapy affordable. We are a telehealth-based company to help expand our reach.
