I specialize in body image, self-esteem and healthy weight loss. If weight loss is your goal, we can discuss how I may be able to help. I also believe in body positivity and acceptance, and my goal is for you to love yourself regardless of how you look. Whether it's developing healthy and meaningful relationships, relieving symptoms of anxiety and depression, or finding a sense of inner satisfaction and wellbeing, I believe you can achieve your goals and find lasting change. I also have personal experience with weight loss and have maintained a loss of over 75lbs, giving me personal insight into the weight loss process.
I've worked in the behavioral health field since 2008 and have found my passion in the deeply personal and relational work of talk therapy. I also have extensive experience in acute/crisis settings, so I don't shy away from people who might feel like their thoughts or problems are too dark or overwhelming to hear about (I've probably heard worse!).
I do not believe in one-size-fits-all therapy. Your personal experience and desires are essential in creating a plan that will work for you.
