Let's talk about grief, and loss! Have you had a major loss, a love one died, a relationship ended, loss a job/career, loss of trust, or good health? Have you experienced a traumatic event either for yourself or witnessed trauma to someone else? The Grief Recovery Method is an educational intervention that provides both group and one-on-one support to address losses of all kinds and especially includes the death of a loved one. The Grief Recovery Method can be offered as a one-on-one service or a group experience. EMDR is another supportive technique/therapy used to address traumatic life experiences and life anxieties and stresses.
Dr. Sandra Miller-Jones is a Certified Grief Recovery Method Specialist and EMDR therapist. Grief due to life losses can plague us with guilt, anxiety and depression the common emotions when a love one dies, a lost relationship, a job/career is gone, or other hurtful losses. My specialty in grief recovery and trauma counseling can provide support.
It is never easy to experience losses such as deaths, relationships, jobs, trust, health. Such losses can never be forgotten. But support can be provided for you to make it a little easier to refocus and embrace the positives of life memories. Parenting Training Skills
This parenting training skills program is designed to offer insights, understanding and parenting skills for parents of youth ages 7-18 years of age. Topics of focus will depend on the age of the youth, and will include stages of development, self-esteem and body image, anxiety and depression, suicide and self-harm. Additional topics and skill training related to parenting children is provided based on individual parenting needs and interest.

Grief Recovery Method Group
The Grief Recovery Method is provided by Dr. Sandra Miller-Jones, PhD, GRM Specialist. Both small group and one-on-one sessions are offered depending on the client's need. Clients must be able to meet weekly for 8 weeks. The purpose of this group is to assist you in moving through a personal loss, such as the death of a loved one, a loss of a job or career, a loss of a romantic relationship, or a loss of any kind that has left you feeling sad, lonely, or depressed.
