Announcement icon I'm doing remote therapy during this unprecedented period of risk, uncertainty, anxiety and fear. You needn't struggle through this alone.
*I currently have limited availability for new patients.* The ongoing pandemic is an enormous stressor, and it may trigger earlier experiences of loneliness, separation and loss and/or exacerbate current relationship issues. In other words, traumatization and retraumatization have been occurring simultaneously, and this is tremendously difficult to manage on one's own. Anger, depression, denial, boredom, resentment, listlessness, and anxiety are the kinds of reactions people report having.
Though in-person therapy remains the ideal, working remotely during the pandemic has proven to be surprisingly effective. If you are suffering, having difficulty focusing or functioning, or at loose ends during this intense, ongoing time of uncertainty, worry and deprivation, you may really benefit from therapy.
Psychoanalytic psychotherapy offers deep listening, meaningful empathy, and insights that can be grounding and freeing. Therapy helps expand your capacities and coping strategies. Significant sustained change takes time, but people often experience immense relief just by starting to talk and feeling understood. You don't have to struggle alone.
