Announcement icon I have suspended in-person sessions in my office due to COVID safety concerns. I offer phone and video service as you prefer (no cost).
I have worked for many years with people suffering from depression, anxiety, and bipolar disorder, and am keenly aware of the additional burdens of shame, low self-esteem and vulnerability that accompany your distress. My clients' levels of motivation for symptom-relief, improving their capacity for change, and self-confidence are always uppermost in my mind as we work together. I provide a safe, supportive, judgment-free environment that encourages your curiosity and determination about how personal change and growth going forward may be accomplished in a respectful collaboration.
My approach to therapy is based on the premise that the greater your ability to understand your personal history, your strengths and interests, the better able you'll be to become free of pressing anxiety and depression. My goal in working with you with support, empathy and skill is to overcome seemingly unsolvable problems. I start by listening carefully.
We can work to enhance a core sense of self-worth, empowerment and well-being that is transformative and lasting. I look forward to speaking with you about your issues and goals and examining how I may be able to help you. I invite you to have a free initial phone consultation.
