Healing the Healer
This is a 6-week online mindfulness meditation group for health professionals (healers from all professions are welcome!). Participation in all sessions is required as the class builds on itself. Participants learn how to utilize mindfulness-based practices to reduce the stress that comes from common struggles in healthcare services, such as: chronic stress, burnout, judgment and criticism (from the self and from others), helplessness, compassion fatigue, imposter syndrome, death/loss/grief, effective working relationships with difficult supervisors, administrators, colleagues, and/or subordinates, and ultimately working in a broken healthcare system. This will be offered in the summer of 2024!
