Living a balanced, meaningful life is the most worthwhile endeavor in this age of change and challenge. Loving connections, a grounded sense of self-esteem and mindful self-care can be hard to achieve and maintain, yet success in these areas can change the way we experience and negotiate our world. Good therapy creates a clearer understanding of the obstacles and how to overcome them to create the life we want. My approach is warm, intellectually curious and collaborative, always keeping goals in mind and explaining the process along the way.
My academic training was originally psychoanalytic. My current approach has incorporated new techniques and concepts in an evolving personal style that has become more eclectic, engaged and interactive. I have advanced training in couple's therapy and group therapy which I enjoy as much as working with individuals.
