I specialize in folks who are struggling with the impact of past relational trauma. This means you might have had a difficult relationship with a parent, struggled with friendships, or have a hard time feeling like you belong or are "good enough." This often shows up in your life today as chronic anxiety and worry, depression and low self-esteem, as well as unfulfilling relationships or a lack of direction in life. You also struggle with difficult emotions, noticing yourself getting triggered by seemingly mundane moments. Overall, you're feeling lost in life and unsure of how to get past this.
I help adults and teens with emotion regulation, cognitive restructuring and healing from past traumas. Using a variety of therapeutic approaches, we work through negative beliefs about yourself, work with difficult emotions, and find purpose and clarity through your values. Approaches include Gestalt therapy, EMDR, mindfulness, and attachment theory.
I believe that therapy helps people to face their inner turmoil, which ultimately leads to new meaning, clarity and change. Sometimes it feels worse before it starts to feel better. However, therapy with me always includes kindness, curiosity, collaboration, and a little humor from time to time. It would be my honor to join you on your healing. Start today!

HSP Support & Skills - [HIATUS]

Ever been told, "you're too sensitive?" As an HSP, you often notice subtle details. You feel emotions strongly and even absorb other people's energies. You also get overstimulated sometimes and need space to recharge. I know because I'm an HSP too. It's time to stop thinking of your sensitivity as a liability—but a superpower. Over 8 weeks, you can learn skills to reduce overwhelm and connect with other HSPs who are wired like you. **ON HIATUS. Contact me to receive information on the next group (virtual)!**
