Having an appreciation of the value of the therapist-client fit, I am committed to providing a comfortable and safe environment where issues may be better understood. As a seasoned therapist, I have worked with children, adolescents and adults who are struggling with concerns related to self-esteem, school, ADHD, work, family, life stage transitions, eating disorders, illness and losses.
Having worked with individuals struggling with disordered eating for many years, I am skilled in helping people gain a a better sense of mastery over their issues. As a couples/ family therapist, I focus on improving communication and listening skills. With adolescents, I address anxieties related to peer relationships, school, family and separation issues.
My training includes adult psychodynamic psychotherapy, couples and family therapy, child/adolescent therapy, Hypnotherapy and EMDR. I have presented workshops on divorce, single parenting and eating disorders.
