My desire is to create a safe space where women can be open and honest about their struggles while moving towards greater emotional well being. I enjoy coming alongside of high school, college age/young adult and middle age women as they walk through life challenges and transitions.
My therapy style is conversational and collaborative. I love to build on my client's strengths and fully engage them in the counseling process. My approach often involves exploring the connections between thoughts and feelings, and the resulting patterns in behavior.
It has truly never been harder to be a girl. The pressures and stressors faced by women in our society are overwhelming and can leave one feeling isolated and overwhelmed. Everyone's journey in counseling is unique, and I would be honored to come alongside of you in yours.
