Hello! Welcome to the first step of therapy - reaching out for support. I am an experienced clinician with 20 years of service in the field. Throughout my career I have counseled children, adolescents, and adults from various backgrounds and cultures. I specialize in several areas including anxiety, depression, grief, stress, self-esteem, and relationship issues, amongst others. I use an eclectic blend of therapeutic modalities, including cognitive behavior therapy, dialectical behavior therapy, motivational interviewing, and solution-focused treatment.
My approach is to provide a warm, empathic, non-judgmental safe space to process. I work collaboratively with my clients to develop personalized goals that will bring about healing, self-growth, increased life satisfaction, and healthy relations/communications with others. Interventions are aimed at helping clients learn and practice new skills.
