Whether you are dealing with depression, anxiety, difficult relationships, past traumas, or problematic ways of coping, we're here to help. At Seed of Change Counseling Services, we approach treatment by focusing not only you as an individual, but you as part of a family. This means we will talk about not only your difficulties, but your strengths. Not only your thoughts and emotions, but your physical well-being. In counseling, it is our relationship that provides a safe place to explore change. By working together collaboratively today, we will plant the seeds that will help you grow.
I understand that you are both doing the best you can, and need to learn to do better. You are not "manipulative," "broken," or "weak," but beautiful and strong. You are a survivor. If you are willing to work hard, we can find change together.
I employ several techniques such as DBT (Dialectical Behavior Therapy, individual only. EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization), TF-CBT (Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy), and Neurotherapy (controlling the electrical activity in your brain). Thus, I employ evidence-based treatments to improve treatment results.
