Some form of suffering brings people to therapy. I create a safe, disarming environment to approach difficult issues in collaboration. I like working with clients who want to deepen insight & self-awareness, refine perspectives & frame of mind, and improve relationship skills. Relationships are powerful - both the cause of much suffering and a necessary ingredient for growth and joy. Wounds from past relationships require new corrective relational experiences to be healed, making therapy essential and helpful. Clients report feeling safe and connected when we meet and notice changes in their lives over time.
As a Jungian therapist, I recognize powerful unconscious forces - both aligned and misaligned with our best interests - that need identification & integration to become our truer selves. It's hard to become who we are when the world within us, and the world around us, is unharmonious. I like working with dreams, images, creativity, & personality typology.
