Greetings! I am Dr. Stokes, and over the past 25+ years I have worked with clients seeking help to improve their lives. I work with individuals and couples. Using a Structural Family Therapy approach, I address the six components of intimacy and help couples build connections across all six. I also incorporate Attachment Theory to address family-of-origin wounds that hinder intimacy. Lastly, because finances are one of the main causes of stress, I have recently added Financial Therapy & Financial Coaching to my skill set. I believe in providing "how to" skills so you feel more confident to handle whatever life throws at you.
My primary concerns are: "Where do you want to go? What do you want your relationship to look like? How do you want your life to be? What skills do you want to build?" I work collaboratively with you to design specific goals and outcomes. This means no "one size fits all" approach. We walk together on the journey to restoration.
