Welcome to my profile. I am Sean Kennedy LCSW. As a Licenced Clinical Social Worker, I come from a strengths-based approach. This means I will never ask what is wrong with you but instead, what is right with you. I work with a diverse range of clients. The most common kinds of clients with whom I work are people like you who are going through the muck and mire of life. We all know life can get really hectic and we just need someone to help sort it all out.
This can lead to symptoms of depression and anxiety. This is where I come in. I will sit with you through you trials and tribulations. My work deals with self-empowerment. We already have the answers to our issues the work is together we will find that answer. I am available for online teletherapy.
The model for practice is strengths-based work where I meet the person where they are. I never ask what is wrong with you, I ask what is right with you. Using CBT, narrative approach, and DBT I work with your strengths to help resolve your issues. In addition to all of these modalities, I employ the psychodynamic approach in working with childhood trauma.
