Many people who work with me have a strong desire not only to find relief from their suffering, but also have a desire to better understand how and why they find themselves suffering in similar ways, over and over again. Often people have tried other approaches to therapy with varying degrees of success, but are still searching for a way to resolve persistent and repetitive problems and to live fuller and more meaningful lives.
I specialize in treating anxiety, panic, depression, relationship difficulties and long-standing problems such as personality disorders and thought disorders (e.g schizophrenia). I have advanced training in psychoanalytic and existential psychotherapy, focusing on helping you come to understand yourself and your issues in deeper and more helpful ways.
