I consider it a privilege to be able to come along side an individual or couple in their journey towards healing. As a therapist, I value creating and holding a nonjudgemental, confidential and safe space to allow for healing and growth. There are many reasons someone might seek therapy. Therapy can help navigate life transitions, treat mental health concerns, address trauma and be a place of support. I believe that expanding self awareness through personal reflection can increase self agency, confidence and relational satisfaction.

My ideal client is someone aged 13 and up who would like a safe, non judgmental place to start regaining control over their lives. I have worked with individuals who are going through rough break ups, substance abuse, anxiety and depression to individuals with significant trauma, such as sexual abuse, domestic violence, neglect or abandonment. Their goals often include coping with anxiety, healing from past trauma, building resilience, and creating a healthier future. They seek understanding, practical tools, and emotional support to regain control over their lives and foster a sense of empowerment.

Feeling stuck? Maybe you look like you have it all together on the outside — a steady career, stable relationships, people who count on you. But inside, something feels off. No matter how hard you try to change, certain patterns keep repeating. You might feel blocked, disconnected, or frustrated that all your insight hasn’t led to real relief. I work with thoughtful, self-aware people who have done personal growth work but still feel blocked by something they can’t quite name. Using Internal Family Systems (IFS) therapy, I help you uncover and understand the inner parts of yourself that carry old pain or try to protect you from it.

Every child, teen, and young adult carries a story—and sometimes that story includes moments that feel overwhelming, confusing, or too heavy to carry alone. My role as a therapist is to walk beside you or your child, creating space for safety, understanding, and hope to grow. I specialize in supporting children, adolescents, and young adults as they navigate trauma, anxiety, emotional dysregulation, and life transitions through EMDR, CBT, and DBT. Together, we build a collaborative, compassionate environment where healing unfolds at a pace that respects each person’s unique story, strengths, and journey.

I strive to create a therapeutic space where clients feel genuinely seen, safe, and heard. My main goal is to meet my clients where they are. I serve individuals, couples, and families. While everyone's reason for considering therapy is different, the one thing we all have in common is the courage it takes to make the phone call and schedule an appointment. My clients come from all walks of life and many difficulties. I commit to my office being free of judgment, expectations, and the noise of the world. Instead, you will find hope, restoration, and a new beginning. Together, we will work together to create your path to healing.

"Nothing is impossible. The word itself says I'm possible"- Audrey Hepburn. This is one of my favorite quotes. I believe therapy works best when it feels safe, respectful and empowering. Asking for help requires strength and self-awareness. I am passionate about supporting individuals as they take that courageous first step and discovery new ways to navigate life with resilience and confidence. The journey toward healing is not always easy or linear. It can feel uneasy at times, and that discomfort is often part of the growth. I honor each step a person takes no matter how small.

I value the intentionality of the counseling space; a time to slow down, reflect, and process life. I strive to maintain a congruent and empathic approach, all while viewing clients as capable experts on themselves. Whatever you are wanting to work through, my goal is to provide a safe, confidential and nonjudgemental space. I also recognize the difficult times that we currently live in and acknowledge how systems and circumstances greater than ourselves can contribute to daily distress. I enjoy exploring life’s larger, existential questions and helping clients find their own meaning of life.

I'm so happy you are here and am proud of you for taking the first step in your journey of choosing a therapist. I know this can be a scary experience and I am here to tell you that you do not have to go through this process alone. My goal is to work alongside you to help you to recognize the importance of embracing grace for yourself. Once you give yourself the grace to acknowledge your feelings, the tough times you are going through, the past experiences that have shaped you, the stressors you are experiencing and more; we are able to begin to heal and grow. Whatever you are feeling, those feelings are valid.

I work with women who feel that people-pleasing, perfectionism, and/or pressure are constant companions. Perhaps you worry that you aren’t doing enough at home for your children, you don’t have enough time to put into your relationships or you can’t meet your own expectations at work. Balancing the roles that you play, while feeling fulfilled and content can be difficult to manage without frustration or burnout. The women I work with often put themselves second to other relationships and priorities and struggle to communicate and maintain boundaries.

Is everyone in the Psychology Today Therapy Directory a licensed therapist?

The Psychology Today directory lists providers who offer legitimate mental health services to the public, including psychologists, psychiatrists, social workers, and counselors.

Many have been licensed by the country or state where they practice; providers whose license or primary credential has been verified by Psychology Today are signified by a “Verified” symbol. Some clinicians or organizations provide services for which their state or country does not offer licenses, such as pastoral counseling. They may be selectively included without the “Verified” seal.

What’s the difference between a psychologist, a therapist, and a counselor?

Therapists, psychologists, and counselors are all licensed mental health professionals. In the US, psychologists have earned a doctoral degree. The terms “therapist” and “counselor” are used somewhat interchangeably, but generally therapists offer longer-term, mental health care, while counselors offer shorter-term care that may focus on one domain, such as marriage, career, or academic challenges.

Clients should consider factors such as insurance coverage and their primary reason(s) for seeking therapy to determine the type of professional best suited to their needs. Someone struggling with mental health challenges such as depression or anxiety, for example, may wish to seek out a clinical psychologist or therapist, while someone navigating career obstacles or marital upheaval may benefit from seeing a counselor who can offer short-term, targeted support.

What type of therapy is right for me?

The type of therapy best suited to a particular individual depends on several factors, including their primary reason for seeking therapy, their preferred timeline (some therapy types last for a set number of sessions, while others are open-ended), and their personality and preferences—some may prefer a more structured approach. For many individuals, multiple types of therapy could provide a good fit.

How much does therapy cost?

The cost of therapy depends on a number of variables, including location and the therapist’s experience and training. On average, a therapy session in the United States could cost between $100 and $200 or more. If you have insurance, the expense of mental health care is typically lower, but it varies based on your insurance plan details and whether you choose an in-network or out-of-network mental healthcare provider.

What are more affordable or low cost therapy solutions?

Many therapists offer sliding scale payments, usually on a limited number of slots, which consists in an agreement between the therapist and a client to pay a reduced rate. Therapists who provide such arrangements often consider the client's income or ability to pay, but the extent of the discount is ultimately at the therapist's discretion. Furthermore, while group therapy may have different goals and benefits compared to individual therapy, it can be a more affordable solution to address certain types of issues.

Is online therapy cheaper than in-person therapy?

Many therapists charge the same amount for online therapy as they do for in-person therapy—though clients may still find this cost-effective if it cuts down on their transportation costs. Health insurance plans often offer equivalent coverage for online and in-person therapy; indeed, in many places, they are legally required to do so. Text-based or on-demand therapy apps may be cheaper than traditional one-on-one psychotherapy; however, the practice may be less effective and is not likely to be covered by insurance.

Is online therapy a good option?

Therapy conducted online can be just as effective as in-person therapy, as long as there is a strong alliance between the client and the therapist. To find a therapist who provides telehealth services to clients in your area, click “Online Therapy” on the directory homepage and search by your city or town or your zip code.

Are therapy sessions confidential?

Confidentiality is a crucial part of the therapeutic relationship. Therapists in the United States are bound by the regulations set out by the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act of 1996 (HIPAA), which aims to protect sensitive health information. With very few exceptions, a therapist will only discuss their client with others when the client has given their written permission. The instances in which a therapist would be required to disclose personal information are: if a client poses a danger to themselves or others, if the therapist suspects the abuse of a child or an elderly or otherwise dependent adult, or if they are legally forced to by court order. These exceptions to the confidentiality agreement are usually discussed with a client before their first session.
