About
I am a compassionate, empathetic, and solution-focused professional, who believes everyone can achieve their goals. I have over 10 years experience working with individuals, couples, and families in diverse settings from substance use facilities to the Department of Correction as well as a Youth and Family Services, and a program director for an eating disorder facility. I enjoy working with adults and adolescents and use evidence-based therapeutic approaches to connect clients with hope and belief in themselves.
I am a Licensed Marital and Family Therapist as well as a Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor. I specialize in working through anxiety, addiction, depression, life transitions, conflict, first responders and trauma. I practice solution focused therapy while being trauma informed.
Through a systems perspective, I will work with clients to discover and understand how our family, environment, and past experiences have influenced how we see the world today. I believe that as we recognize certain patterns, we can move beyond the limits we set for ourselves and live a more fulfilling life.
