I work the addict or affected family members, starting where the clients are today. Clients' are encouraged to look inward and assess how they wove substances into their life, while shutting out their surroundings. Clients' will identify their interests and goals. Together, you can find freedom.
My training includes inpatient and intensive outpatient settings. I have trained with 12 step and harm reduction modalities. Each client identifies their path to breaking the addiction. We can build on abstinence, or find ways to reduce the harm of substance abuse by reducing substance use and resulting damaging behavior.
