About
Hi, my name is Dr. Scott Su and I am a Licensed Clinical Psychologist. As a psychotherapist I try and employ an adaptive and flexible style suitable to the needs of each individual. Whether someone is seeking to overcome current challenges, looking to address stressful events from the past, or simply interested in exploring and understanding themselves, I intend to meet people where they are at. Ultimately, my goal is to create a nonjudgmental space which fosters emotional safety and collaboration.
My professional style has led me to espouse a client centered approach that integrates evidence-based practices such as CBT, ACT, DBT, and other mindfulness techniques. I also try and draw from the wisdom of the past through incorporating philosophical principles that offer pragmatic and contemporary applications.
Most of my work with clients involves tackling depression, anxiety, trauma, substance use, relationship difficulties, and life transitions. If you feel like any of these services may be useful to you, please feel free to contact me. Looking forward to meeting and thanks for taking the time to view my profile!
