Hello! My name is Scott Silver, and I am an LCSW both in New York and Florida. I often utilize an eclectic, person-centered approach to treating adolescents and adults. I specialize in depression, anxiety, life transition issues, and relationship issues. However, I also have deep exposure to and appreciation for people who are suffering from addiction and substance abuse issues as well.
I often utilize an eclectic approach, drawing from several evidence-based approaches, such as CBT, Motivational Interviewing, DBT, and strengths-focused. I work with the client to meet them where they are, always incorporating empathy and compassion into my work.
I often see clients as young as 12 years old up to the age of 65 years young. I am comfortable treating substance abuse/addiction, depression, anxiety, and life transition issues. I am very warm, empathetic, and free of judgment. I utilize an eclectic approach, drawing from several evidence-based approaches.
