I became a therapist in mid-career, driven by my passion for helping others and my natural ability to connect with people. As a therapist, I use a non-judgmental, strengths-oriented, evidence-based approach. I'll meet you where you're at, get to know you, and we'll work together as a team to identify and achieve your goals. At NOCD, my team and I specialize in providing evidence-based treatment for OCD. Our deep understanding of its nuances enables us to properly diagnose and treat it. We have received intensive training in Exposure Response and Prevention Therapy (ERP)—the gold standard treatment for OCD.
When you start with NOCD, you’ll work with me or be paired with a colleague, depending on your preferences. We’ll get to know you and create a personalized treatment plan to help you achieve your goals. Plus, we offer support between sessions through direct messaging and a community of peers with OCD, ensuring you never feel alone.
I understand it may be difficult to take the first step in reaching out for help, but I will be with you every step of the way, from the first session through the entire treatment process. If you feel things aren't progressing as you'd like, we can make adjustments together. I look forward to working with you and helping you conquer your OCD.
